My Story

I have been working as a photographer, retoucher, and digital tech simultaneously since 2016, beginning with an advertisement agency in Los Angeles shooting and editing for brands like Fiji Water, POM Wonderful, Justin Wines, and Teleflora to name a few. I would do everything from studio product photography, events, on location shoots, corporate headshots, and a few creative videos as well. Although my BA was in graphic design, photography was my main passion so I spent more time focusing on those skills. In 2019 I left the company to pursue freelance photography and worked doing freelance travel photography for the last two years. 

On two separate occasions I have volunteered in the Kibera slum located just a few miles outside Nairobi Kenya, teaching photography to high school girls. Starting completly from scratch they learned how to do manual DSLR photography while learning how to manipulate camera settings. I taught them about composition, photo editing and we would do critiques of photos together. It was an amazing experience and I hope to continue doing work like this.

Most recently I have been working on a personal time-lapse film covering the national parks in the United States. Living the "van life" out of my SUV I was able to go to 35+ parks in 4 months shooting over 200+ time-lapses along the way. I hope to continue visiting the remaining national parks so I can one day release my full national parks time-lapse film.
